Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
The 7 steps to Emotional Freedom

Basically your EFT session will be:
Step 1: FOCUS
Define your problem or challenge, so you focus your mind on it.

Examples: Fear of mice, fear of flying, headache, backache (a physical problem that requires a medical solution will not "vanish" using this method - it only takes care of the energy disruption), chocolate addiction, problem with a co-worker, etc. The more specific you are, the faster the problem will disappear! One problem can have many different aspects (In the fear of flying, you may face a fear of death, a fear of height, claustrophobia, etc.)

Step 2: SUDS Level (Subjective Unit of Discomforts)
Rate your level of discomfort, on a scale of 0 (no discomfort) to 10 (unbearable).
Step 3: The Set Up

Rub the Sore Spot or Karate Chop point, while saying, 3 times:

"Even though I have this problem (state it), I deeply and completely accept myself."

Step 4: The Sequence
Tap gently on points 1-13, with the tip of your fingers (index and middle finger), while saying a reminding phrase:
"This problem… (state it), this problem, this problem…"

It's NOT being negative. It works like an eraser, and removes the disruption from the energy system. Refer to the diagram on the Energy Therapy Page.

  1. EB=Eye Brow
  2. SE=Side of Eye
  3. UE=Under the Eye
  4. UN=Under the Nose
  5. Ch=Chin
  1. CB=CollarBone
  2. UA=Under Arm
  3. BN=Below Nipple

Step 5: The 9 Gamut Procedure

  1. Eyes closed.
  2. Eyes open.
  3. Eyes hard down right while holding the head steady.
  4. Eyes hard down left while holding the head steady.
  5. Roll eyes in a circle as though your nose was at the center of a clock and you were trying to see all the numbers in order.
  6. Same as #5 only reverse the direction in which you roll your eyes.
  7. Hum 2 seconds of a song (suggest Happy Birthday).
  8. Count rapidly from 1 to 5.
  9. Hum 2 seconds of a song again.
Step 6: Repeat The Sequence
Tap gently on points 1-13, with the tip of your fingers (index and middle finger), while saying a reminding phrase:

"This problem… (state it), this problem, this problem…"

Step 7: Check your SUDS level
If your SUDS level is 0, you are done! If not, persevere and repeat steps 3 through 6. You may need to address other aspects of the problem.
